In EU the price includes VAT, outside EU - there is no tax added, but... the price is calculated to include the more significant shipping cost (which is free worldwide for the buyer). Again... Coming from a country where the 24hr format is normal a second 12hr bezel would be more confusing for me. It definitely needs a bracelet.

Love to see it on a white Rubber watch band.

It shows a LOT of Promise and has a nautical tinge to it.

I was lucky enough to review this watch and I have to say one rarely gets as much watch for the money. Should one like its design, all I can say is that the quality of materials and finishing are as good as any, with a special highlight on the strap. That being said, I know there’s a bracelet in the works.

This one looks great. Why does no one talks about Seiko as a much cheaper (and probably more reliable) alternative?

I agree with 90% of your review, however I have a few caveats. Firstly (as others have mentioned) I currently have 5 Seiko in my collection and although I love them, four of them have misalignment issues, all but one have mineral glass and one has a faulty crown. Seiko helped out with the crown, but were uninterested with the misalignment issues. One of My Steeldive watches (although not a Captain Willard) arrived with a scratched case and was replaced immediately, with no issues. The other thing is that you kept saying that the dial was dull and matt. But that's because that's the one you chose, it also comes in a sunburst blue and sunburst green which are very vibrant. I agree with you about the bracelet (although they've updated it now) but once again looking at my Citizen and Seiko watches they often have rolled links and hollow end links on watches that are between twice and ten times more expensive. Anyway. Nice review as always, keep up the good work.

Oh God , seeing this review... I'm dreaming about a watch which isn't affordable to me but... I wished that Orient could make same dial.. It is none other than the Zenith El-primero Chronograph with different dial colors.

I got one like this for $199 at Costco. It's amazing. It's hefty, good lume, the strap is nice qulaity asnd the glass it slightly domed with good dial detail. Citizen was selling the same watch for $400 at it's Outlet shops in the Ritzy shopping areas

i think you need to compare to the Seiko 5kx and it holds up if not better in some cases / sapphire screwdown crown mine actually lines up compared to many of my seiko that dont / i see it as Seiko is falling behind charging more and giving less and maybe watches like these will push Seiko to step up there game and keep prices reasonable

i will say i buy and mod watches and use Aliexpress a lot and almost everything shows up in 2 weeks and the ONLY issues i have had is a seestern 600t movement didnt work sent back and got a refund in about 4 weeks (took 2 weeks to ship back free shipping and 2 weeks for refund) but that was it

This iconic piece is GOD TIER !!! WR on this... swimming showering no problem theres vids where guys have froze it drop it ran over it..put in a pressure testing chamber the lot... Such a good uber iconic casio...Although theyre not made in japan no more so hence NO U nowadays on the front... Love mine and a staple in any vintage casio collection...Great review my friend

Its nice, i think i want the Bulova though. Both are cool. This does look better than the Bulova.

Skx is so freakin over priced! You may as well buy the real all metal casioak from Casio for the price of their mod kit. Plus the factory Casio watch looks far better
